How we work together
My therapeutic approach is holistic and tailored to each individual, integrating a variety of evidence-based modalities to ensure the most effective support for your needs. I pull from techniques such as:
Solution-Focused Therapy Helping you identify practical solutions to current challenges while focusing on your strengths and goals.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Working to reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and replace them with healthier, more constructive patterns.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A powerful technique for processing trauma and distressing memories, helping you move past past experiences that may be holding you back.
Motivational Interviewing Supporting you in exploring and resolving ambivalence toward change, empowering you to take action and move toward your goals.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teaching mindfulness and stress reduction techniques to help you stay grounded, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional regulation.
Somatic and Nervous System Regulation Techniques Using body-based approaches to help you release stored tension, improve body awareness, and regulate your emotional responses.
Over a Decade of Mental Health Care and Coaching
Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), certified coach, and mental health professional with over 12 years of experience in mental health care and coaching. I've worked in high-pressure settings, including police crisis response, Emergency Departments, inpatient mental health, and as a civil commitment investigator. I’ve also supported expatriates and foreign nationals as a Consulate social worker, helping them navigate life transitions and challenges.
Having lived in 4 countries over the past 8 years and grown up in diverse cultural environments, I understand the complexities of adapting to new places and managing life’s emotional ups and downs—whether it's a job change, relocation, life transitions, grief or loss.
With the past 5 years in private practice, I am here to provide compassionate, practical support to help you build resilience, process emotions, and navigate life’s transitions with clarity and confidence.
